Don’t Forget to Flush

I am on my way to my fourth conference of the month. This time, Widget Web Expo. Should be ultra-geeky..well, hopefully. Taking the Acela train. It’s always a nice train, expensive, and now..thanks to gas prices, ultra packed. I’m riding in the Cafe car. Literally. Sitting here with my extra-large, bulky, and slow work computer surrounded by the smell of coffee, nutragrain bars, and pissed off sweating men and woman in suits who can’t find a seat. I’m sitting on a bar stool, facing perpendicular to the direction the train is heading. Not ideal at all, especially for $145 each way.

Dear Amtrak, stop overbooking your trains.
