Typecuts is Berlin-based designer Andrea Tinnes. Nice type!

Commando Group (Monday, December 4th, 2006)
Norwegian firm Commando Group works primarily in illustration, but they also have a varied array of different design works showcased on their website. I’m particularly fond of the Sport Bread packaging (above). I mean, Sport + Bread. Who knew this market had gone untapped for so long?
Proekt (Friday, December 1st, 2006)
From Russia with love. Details are scarce on Proekt’s site, but the work is stunning. Tons of lovely print work, from laser cut business cards, to upscale, exterior signage. Take a look around this site.
Ben Loiz (Friday, December 1st, 2006)
Check out the work of LA based artist/designer Ben Loiz. I really like his use of color coupled with the flatness of his work, makes a very bold statement.
GVA Studio (Thursday, November 30th, 2006)
From Geneva Switzerland, home of everything clean and modern in graphic design, we bring you GVA Studio. Decidedly no frills, as one would expect, on this site the work—mainly print and exhibitions—is showcased.
WDDG (Wednesday, November 29th, 2006)
The World Domination Design Group has finally launched their new site. Those who were waiting with bated breath will be let down by the lack of MORE BBQSPLOSIONS. But alas, WDDG presents a wonderfully art-directed, fully-immersive, faux-flash-video site. Great concept, great execution (though the appearance of Arial on some slides is disconcerting), and most of [...]
Atelier Bernd Kuchenbeiser (Tuesday, November 28th, 2006)
While not the most imaginative site layout out there, German firm Atelier Bernd Kuchenbeiser brings some clean work in an overwhelmingly international style. Helvetica fetishists rejoice!
Made (Wednesday, November 22nd, 2006)
Pretty sure they do not celebrate Thanksgiving in Norway, but that won’t stop us here from recognizing the work over at Made and giving thanks for good design. On a side note, big TurkeyDay shout out to the DNFTF faithful. We will return with some new posts over the weekend.
It is Blank (Tuesday, November 21st, 2006)
Our first studio from Lithuania! Check out It is Blank. Some really great work here. Love the site as well!
CHK Design (Friday, November 17th, 2006)
Yet another London firm, CHK Design, founded by Christian Küsters, author of the fantastic book Restart: New Systems in Graphic Design. The site is a bit old, but the work shown is quite nice with a good breadth of projects.
SectionSeven (Tuesday, November 14th, 2006)
Back to to the good old US&A. Here’s Seattle-based SectionSeven with a slick new site and some work to back it up.
Bitch (Tuesday, November 14th, 2006)
Si Scott and Kerry Roper launch Bitch; illustration and design.
Bostock and Pollitt (Friday, November 10th, 2006)
I figure we might as well close out the week with another English studio, this one from London with an aptly British name: Bostock and Pollitt. Nicely polished and buttoned-up corporate comms work, which seems to be scarcer and scarcer nowadays with the proliferation of the Web 2.0 look and psychedelia taking over the print [...]
Sanderson Bob (Thursday, November 9th, 2006)
Updates over at Sanderson Bob, another tDR alum. Some very conceptual, colorful, and playful work being shown.
Blue Source (Wednesday, November 8th, 2006)
Designers of such famous music covers as the Chemical Brothers and Dirty Vegas, English studio Blue Source has been churning out fantastic work for years now. While there is a smattering of corporate comms work on display, the star of this show is the firm’s album covers.
